Conducting Effective Appraisals

A key message in this training includes the need to provide support and direction throughout the year. This will include having regular one to ones throughout the year, monitoring performance and feeding back whenever possible. There must be NO surprises in an appraisal.

Most employees dread 'appraisal time', and view the process as a waste of time. Running effective appraisals is a key management skill.

This course will be designed to incorporate your appraisal or CDR process, and will include any in-house company policies and procedures you would like us to emphasize.

In addition, practical role play using work based appraisal examples are vital in this type of training. This way delegates will return to the workplace with the knowledge AND ability to carry out effective appraisals.
